Terrible Odors!!!
Location: At the corner of Ave. 62 and Jackson St.
Description
Whenever you drive by Ave. 62 and Jackson St. you are hit by a horrible smell coming from the composting plant on this site. It is especially rancid smelling in the summer and many times we see fires smoldering in the mounds of compost. Disgusting!

I have notified Riverside County Environmental Health and the South Coast AQMD about this report (5/21/12).
This issue is currently garnering a lot of attention, and I will post more information as it becomes available. -

Drove yesterday (5/21) two times around the area. One around 4pm and the other around 10pm. Odor was perceived as pesticide/fertilizer or some sort of chemical;pretty strong even at night. Relates to report 0171 from April 16, 2012.
