Brush Fire Near Mecca Highway 86

A fire began around 4:30pm. Residents of Mobile home park St. Anthony in Mecca Report that the smoke has reached their homes. There is growing concern. As I received the call I could hear helicopters on the background and it was confirmed that a couple of helicopters were gathering water from a nearby location to fight the blaze. This report was called in by a resident of Mecca, Ca who has witnessed this active incident.
